Thermal cutting

Zakład Kon­struk­cji Spa­wa­nych Łabę­dy Sp. z o.o. cut metal parts for welded con­struc­tions. We use pla­sma and gas cut­ting. Ther­mal cut­ting is reali­zed on modern equ­ip­ment and by high­ly quali­fied tech­ni­cal staff, which guaran­tee the highest quali­ty of elements.

MicroStep, type MG 12001.60Pr thermal cutting

Thermal cutting is performed on the following equipment:

  • MicroStep, type MG 12001.60PrPr plasma cutting device to straight and diagonal cut from 0 ° to 45 °, 6000mm * 12000mm working area with two rotary heads and HPR260A plasma generators. Maximum cutting thickness up to 30 mm and beveling up to 25 mm.

  • MicroStep, type PLS 12001.30P plasma cutting device to straight cut, working area of ​​3000mm * 12000mm with one head. Plasma generator HPR260A. Maximum cutting thickness up to 30mm.

  • Messer, type Omnimat C thermal cutting machine for gas cutting (oxygen + propane), working area of ​​5600mm * 12000mm with two heads. Maximum thickness of automatic breakthrough up to 120mm.

  • Messer, type Corta thermal cutting machine for gas cutting (oxygen + propane). Photoelectric control. Maximum cut thickness up to 200mm and chamfering of previously made elements.

  •  Three gas cutting devices (each chamfering in angles from 0 ° to 60 °)

CNC Gas cutting

In addi­tion to the sha­pe cut, we make all types of cham­fe­ring by vario­us methods and bench work: 

  • Automatic plasma cutting directly on the machine.

  • Gas cutting on cut-off machines.

  • Processing on belt grinder Gerima-FasRapid — (technical description below)

Thermal cutting with automatic nesting guarantees maximum material reduction.

ZKS possess inte­gra­ted Lan­tek sys­tem, which sup­ports ther­mal cut­ting, among others in ran­ge of design and plan­ning of opti­mum use of metal plates.

It con­si­sts of three modules:

  • Lan­tek Mana­ger — Planning
  • Lan­tek Expert — opti­mum nesting of parts on metal pla­tes and gene­ra­tion of NC codes
  • Lan­tek Inte­gra – metal pla­tes ware­ho­use management.

Ther­mal cut­ting with auto­ma­tic nesting guaran­te­es maxi­mum mate­rial reduction.

After com­ple­ting cut­ting order, set­tle­ment of cost  and mate­rial is done.
